Griff Meister Mortise Latch Lock, 50 mm Backset, Gunmetal
We supply this mortise latch lock for interior doors that simply need to stay closed rather than lock. It works with a sprung latch only, so the door catches neatly in the frame and opens again with a light press of the handle. The gunmetal faceplate is colour-matched to the rest of our Griff Meister range, so lock, handle and rosettes read as one complete set.

Which door is this for?
Choose a latch lock for passage doors, living rooms, hallways and studies — anywhere locking is not required. Measure the backset of your existing lock, from the face of the forend to the centre of the spindle hole; at 50 mm this lock is usually a one-to-one replacement. If the door does need to lock, take a day & night lock or the WC 63/8 bathroom lock from the same range instead.
