We supply round rosettes of Ø 53 mm and only 6 mm thick, in three functions and seven finishes. A rosette is the small disc that sits under or beside the handle and closes off the hole in the door. Which one you need depends entirely on what that hole is for.
Sizes to check
- Diameter: 53 mm. The disc covers a standard bore and its surround.
- Thickness: 6 mm. Deliberately slim, so the rosette sits almost flush with the door face.
- Centres to the handle: 55 mm or 56 mm. A cylinder rosette sits at 55 mm from the spindle, a keyhole rosette at 56 mm. Measure your existing lock before you choose.
Which rosette do you need?
A blind rosette has no opening. Use it on a door where the lock is not operated from that side, or to close a redundant hole neatly.
A keyhole rosette takes a classic lever key, and a euro cylinder rosette takes a profile cylinder. Both simply mirror what is in your lock case, so the lock decides the rosette rather than the other way round.
Our advice: pick the rosette to match the lock case you are fitting, and buy them in the same finish as the handles at the same time. Ordering them separately later is the usual cause of a slight colour mismatch.
Finishes
- Brushed stainless steel. The neutral option, corrosion resistant indoors.
- Matt black and bronze. Even coated colours. Bronze is lacquered and does not patinate.
- Gunmetal, gold, rose gold and champagne PVD. Hard vacuum bonded coatings that hold their colour.

How many do I need per door? Two, one for each face, unless only one side is finished.
Do rosettes come with screws? Yes, the fixing screws are supplied.
Will these fit my existing door? If your door already has a mortise lock with the usual 8 mm spindle hole, yes.
Can I use a blind rosette to hide an old hole? Yes, as long as the hole is smaller than the 53 mm disc.
