We supply this Griff Meister fixed door knob on an oval backplate in a warm bronze finish, here with an SL56 keyhole cut-out. A fixed knob does not turn with the door: you pull or push it open and the key handles the locking. The 56 mm cut-out matches the lever and cabinet locks fitted to most older interior doors, while the bronze tone sits beautifully against oak, walnut and deeper paint colours.

Which door is this for?

Choose this version for interior doors with a lever or cabinet lock, such as an older panel door or a store room door. Measure from the centre of the spindle to the centre of the keyhole on your existing hardware: 56 mm means this plate will line up. Bore holes must sit 200 mm apart and the leaf must be 38 to 50 mm thick. The knob comes per piece, so order two to finish both faces.
