We supply this Griff Meister fixed door knob on an oval backplate in a smoky gunmetal PVD finish, here with a PC55 euro cylinder cut-out. A fixed knob does not turn with the door: you pull or push it open while the cylinder handles the locking, making it the classic choice for the outside face of a door that must stay secure. Gunmetal is a softer, warmer alternative to black that still frames the door crisply.

Which door is this for?

This version belongs on doors with a mortise lock and euro profile cylinder, for instance a store room, utility room or the door through to the garage. Measure from the centre of the spindle to the centre of the cylinder: it should be 55 mm. The bore holes must be 200 mm apart and the leaf 38 to 50 mm thick; order the cylinder separately and match its length to the door.
