We supply this Griff Meister fixed door knob on an oval backplate in a warm bronze finish, here with a PC55 euro cylinder cut-out. A fixed knob does not turn with the door: you pull or push it open while the cylinder does the locking, which makes it the natural choice for the outside face of a door that has to stay secure. The bronze tone works beautifully with oak, walnut and deeper paint colours.

Which door is this for?

Fit this version to doors with a mortise lock and euro profile cylinder: a store room, a utility room, or the connecting door to the garage. Measure from the centre of the spindle to the centre of the cylinder and look for 55 mm. The bore holes must be 200 mm apart and the leaf 38 to 50 mm thick; order the cylinder separately and choose its length to match the door.
