Fixed Door Knob on Oval Backplate - Blind (no keyhole) - Bronze

We supply this Griff Meister fixed door knob on an oval backplate in a warm bronze finish, a tone that reads beautifully against oak, walnut and darker paint colours. A fixed knob does not turn: you simply pull or push the door open with it, which is all a lockless door needs. This is the blind version, so the backplate has no cut-out at all and stays completely closed.

Which door is this for?

A blind knob on backplate belongs on doors that never lock: a utility cupboard, a store room, or the fixed leaf of a double door. The plate is generous enough to cover cut-outs left behind by earlier hardware. Check that the leaf is between 38 and 50 mm thick and the bore holes 200 mm apart; where the door does need a lock, choose the keyhole or PC55 version instead.
